Current Research
Studies the role of village savings and loan associations (VSLAs) and different payment schemes in encouraging investment on sustainable farming techniques and income generation in rural Madagascar.
Ravaka uses a mixed-methods approach combining experimental games, longitudinal survey data from a randomized control trial and qualitative interviews to understand farmers’ decision-making on Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) adoption under different cash transfers mechanisms (individual cash transfers and VSLA-mediated cash transfers).
